I had gotten approval to miss the first day of school for educational field trip on Solar Eclipse 2017 day. My family & I traveled to SC so we could be in the Totality Pathway for the event. Here is some of the video footage we took, I still haven't gone through all the footage we took but this is a short clip of highlights from my experience that I have gone through of the Solar Eclipse. The video doesn't reveal the intensity of the event that we actually experienced in my opinion but I don't think any video could really match actually being there in the pathway of totality.
